Perak State Sports Council Enhances Operations with the Addition of Arvia Smartboard

Client : MSN Perak | Project Date : 29-May-2024

The Perak State Sports Council (Majlis Sukan Negeri Perak), established on November 1, 1989, operates under the Malaysian National Sports Council Act of 1971 and the Second Schedule Amendment Order of the Malaysian National Sports Council Act 1988 (Act 29). Initially headquartered at the Office of the State Secretary of Perak, the council has seen significant evolution in its operations and leadership.

The first Director, Mahaiyuddin bin Arshad, served from November 1, 1989, to April 30, 1993. Under his leadership, the council laid its foundational strategies and frameworks for promoting sports in Perak. Following him, Encik Mazelan bin Ahmad Baharin took the helm from July 1, 1993, to December 31, 1996, continuing the council’s mission to elevate sports standards in the state. The baton was then passed to Encik Abdul Puhat bin Mat Nayan, who led from January 1, 1997, to October 31, 2005. During his tenure, the council operated out of a rented shop lot at No. 4, Medan Istana 5, Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, Bandar Ipoh Raya, Perak Darul Ridzuan, before moving to a more permanent location.

A significant administrative shift occurred on December 1, 2006, when Haji Meor Ismail bin Meor Akim was appointed Director. Under his leadership, the council moved to its current headquarters at the Wisma Perak State Sports Council, MBI Sports Complex. This move marked a new era for the council, enabling it to better serve the sports community in Perak with improved facilities and infrastructure.

In its continuous effort to enhance operational efficiency and the quality of its meetings and presentations, the Perak State Sports Council recently acquired an Arvia Smartboard Malaysia 75″ Capacitive Touch for their meeting room. This modern smartboard offers a versatile, interactive display solution that supports a range of functionalities, from detailed presentations to collaborative planning sessions. The Arvia Smartboard’s capacitive touch technology allows for precise, multi-touch capabilities, making it an invaluable tool for dynamic and engaging meetings. This investment underscores the council’s commitment to leveraging technology to boost productivity and streamline its operations.

The incorporation of the Arvia Smartboard signifies a strategic enhancement to the council’s technological resources, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of sports administration and development in Malaysia. By embracing such innovative tools, the Perak State Sports Council continues to demonstrate its dedication to fostering a vibrant sports culture and nurturing athletic talent in Perak.
