Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri, Negeri Sembilan (JKNNS) is the central administrative headquarters for the Ministry of Health Malaysia in Negeri Sembilan, located on Jalan Rasah, Seremban. Responsible for all state-level administration and activities, JKNNS initially operated from Jalan Lee Sam, Seremban, with some departments functioning from separate locations. To streamline operations, a new building was constructed on Jalan Rasah in 2010, fully operational from February 1, 2012.
Under the leadership of the State Health Director, JKNNS comprises six main divisions: the Medical Division, Public Health Division, Dental Health Division, Pharmacy Services Division, Food Safety and Quality Division, and Management Division. These divisions are overseen by Deputy State Health Directors who report directly to the State Health Director.
The Medical Division focuses on clinical services and hospital management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care across the region. The Public Health Division is dedicated to preventive health measures, disease surveillance, and health promotion activities aimed at improving community health outcomes. Meanwhile, the Dental Health Division oversees dental services and oral health education initiatives.
The Pharmacy Services Division ensures the availability and proper distribution of medications across hospitals and clinics. The Food Safety and Quality Division monitors and regulates food safety standards to safeguard public health through inspections and educational programs. The Management Division coordinates administrative functions, resource allocation, and strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency.
JKNNS oversees a comprehensive healthcare network in Negeri Sembilan, including 7 hospitals, 7 District Health Offices, 7 District Dental Health Offices, 50 health clinics, 96 village clinics, 18 community clinics, and 46 dental clinics. This infrastructure supports accessible healthcare services throughout the state, catering to diverse medical needs.
In line with enhancing operational capabilities, JKNNS recently integrated advanced technology into their workstations.
